PPL Training

To obtain a Private Pilot's License there are a number of steps which are required: -
* A Class 2 medical, which has to be done by an Authorised Medical Examiner.
* A Student Pilot's License, SPL.
* 45 hours flying time, including at least 10 hours supervised solo flight time, 5 hours solo cross-country flying, one cross-country flight of at least 270 Km with two full stops at other airfields.
* Ground school leading to 5 written examinations, Aircraft Technical, Flight Performance & Planning, Navigation, Human Performance & Limitations and Aviation Law.
* A flight test with an IAA examiner.
