Welcome to Kilkenny Flying & Gliding Club

Kilkenny Flying & Gliding Club has been in existance at Kilkenny airfield since 1969. During this time numerous PPL's have been trained here; some have progressed to CPL and ATPL with national and international carriers, but the majority are recreational pilots who still get a buzz from exploring Ireland, and further afield, from the air. KFGC is committed to providing safe, realiable aircraft at a reasonable cost to it's members so that they can enjoy their hobby in a relaxing, stress free envoirnment. Kilkenny airfield, now known as Conor Airpark, is home to three flying clubs and also a number of private owners and groups. The public is welcome to come along and share in the relaxed general avaition experience and partake in the numerous "hangar chats" which take place when pilots are not in the air.
